If you’re looking to embark on off-road adventures, nothing gets the job done quite like the legendary Jeep Wrangler. This vehicle reigns supreme when it comes to off-roading, and the latest iteration has more to offer than ever before. Explore some of the best features of the new 2023 Jeep Wrangler thanks to Snethkamp CDJR of Gaylord. Discover whether or not it’s right for your next adventure.

Trim Levels

The new Wrangler comes in four different trim levels, and they each have unique exterior features to keep in mind when deciding on your favorite. To begin with, the Wrangler Sport offers tow hooks, a soft-top roof, and 17-inch wheels. With the upgraded Sahara trim, you get four doors by default along with larger 18-inch wheels.

One of the most popular trim levels on the Wrangler is the Rubicon, thanks to its iconic off-roading capabilities. The latest version comes equipped with 33-inch all-terrain tires and unique badging. Finally, the High Altitude trim offers a bit more luxury than you might expect from a rugged off-roader, with features like LED headlights and taillights in addition to stylish 20-inch wheels.

Engine

Under the hood of your new Wrangler, you’ll find one of two engine options. The first is a 3.6-liter V-6 that’s similar to the standard engine you’ll find in a wide range of GM vehicles. With the Wrangler’s setup, though, this engine boasts an impressive 285 horsepower and 250 pound-feet of torque. The Wrangler historically has only come with one engine, so the second option here is particularly exciting. It’s a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four that maximizes efficiency while still offering 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque.

Performance

As you might expect, the Wrangler’s performance excels most when it comes to off-roading. Its unique capabilities allow you to enjoy ground clearance, traction, articulation, water fording, and maneuverability like no other vehicle can offer. Plus, it features multiple four-wheel-drive systems to choose from, letting you customize your performance as needed. You can even enjoy a maximum towing capacity of 3,500 pounds if you need to haul some extra cargo on your next adventure.

Interior

Inside the Wrangler, you’ll find an interior that’s as luxurious as it is utilitarian. Drain plugs are available that make it easy to wash out the interior without having to waste time on cleanup. You also get a wide windshield and an elevated viewing position that offers an exceptional viewing range no matter where your journey takes you. In terms of tech, you can get an advanced navigation system in addition to Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Safety Features

Safety is the most important factor in any vehicle, and the Wrangler is no exception. Fortunately, you’ll find a wealth of exciting safety features that let you drive with peace of mind. In fact, there are more than 75 features working together to keep you and your passengers safe. A large part of its defenses is the high-strength steel design that directs kinetic energy from impacts around the cabin. Plus, you can opt for high-tech driver assistance features like blind-spot monitoring for that extra bit of protection on the road.
